Waterwindow is a piece of public art by Susanna Heron, dating from 1998-2003 and located at the change of level between Priory Gardens and Priory Place, and is part of the Phoenix Initiative development constructed at that time. Heron writes that the window behind the water "acts as an ear to the sounds of the waterfall. From Priory Place the full extent of the copper wall and waterfall can be seen and at times a patch of sunlight falls through the window to float on the falling water. The splash from the waterfall is continuously recorded in the build-up of green patina on the copper panels, evolving and changing over time to form a water-sensitive drawing." https://susannaheron.com/site-specific/waterwindow-coventry/ The steeples of the old cathedral (St. Michael's) and of Holy Trinity can be seen above the wall.
