Fountain. 1862 for the Dillon family. Limestone and pink sandstone with some polished granite. Gothic style. The water flows from a steeple-like structure rising from a sandstone base on 4 short granite columns with stiff-leaf capitals bearing pointed arches within gables; the drum of the circular limestone superstructure is pierced by a band of quatrefoils, and carries an ornamented spire. A band of decoration around the front arch includes the words "IN MEMORIAM", and a plate on the rear wall commemorates Henrietta Viscountess Dillon. (historicengland.org.uk)
