These two buildings are associated with gas supply, at least some of it to Worcestershire Royal Hospital. The red barriers are associated with trenches to carry a new supply pipe into the hospital site. A few days later a yellow pipe appeared from the side of the nearest building and was linked to a pipe in the trench.
