This is where the old GWR Railway from Stourbridge to Wolverhampton crossed Hordern Road. The single track line becomes two track, presumably as a passing place, as there was no station or halt at Claregate. http://www.railaroundbirmingham.co.uk/Stations/tettenhall.php
