Grade II Listed early 19th century building with late 19th century shop front. The White Horse and Griffin hotel give their address as 87 that I assume is partially above the 635 sq. ft. shop (with 665 sq. ft. basement). A photograph around 1910 when the shop was occupied by Wilman Brooksbank poulterer appears to show the southern (right) doorway but the second doorway is on centre of the remaining shop front. That would make the current shop front mostly 20th century not 19th. Other names that show up at 87 are Thornton & Collins Luggage and Handbag Shop, Boo Tique and of course M Simpson, as the typical butchers sign.
