Derelict cinema on Longford Road

The building stands at the corner of Dovedale Avenue (to the right) and Windmill Road (off picture to the left) and faces onto Longford Road. It opened in 1929 as the Dovedale Cinema; it was also known at various times as the Rivoli and the Ritz, becoming an Asian cinema in its final years before closing in 1981. When photographed in 2021 it had been boarded up for twenty years or more. http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/50574
