At first sight it might not be obvious what is depicted here, but the foreground shows a wall outside the Clovelly Bay Inn with the building itself behind. The pub has had an external makeover during the Covid-19 lockdown with a new octopus design. The red lozenge identifies the south west coast path which heads up St John's Road to the left.
