Opened in 1846 by the grandly named Great North of England, Clarence and Hartlepool Junction Railway, connecting Ferryhill with Hartlepool, this station closed to passengers in 1952. View east towards Trimdon Grange and (ultimately) Hartlepool. There were two parallel platforms here. It is not known if the building on the right is connected with the former station - it is a private residence.
