According to the Wild Trout Trust the headwaters of the Pagham Rife are located at Runcton Mill but looking at the maps it appears that it comes from Runcton Lake. The Pagham Rife is one of several freshwater rifes which flow into Pagham Harbour. The Rifes make up a collection of relatively small streams flowing across the Chichester Plain.
