A shallow hollow way, lined with oak trees, climbing the slope towards Tamworth Road and what was once Hooton's Big Wood, and is now reduced to much smaller strips of woodland beside the lane. The picture has been carefully posed, so that the pile of old carpet dumped by the side of the lane by fly-tippers is hidden from view by the curve.
