The former Curiosity Shop on Commercial Brow at the corner with Clarendon Road Image is now a barber's shop. It used to be an off-licence with a post office next door. The GR Postbox (SK14 23) Image on the corner is reputed to be one of the oldest postboxes in Hyde.
