Vyse Street was laid out in 1846 by Richard Howard-Vyse, a local landowner. Behind the trees on the left is the Warstone Lane cemetery and a little beyond it the Jewellery Quarter railway station. The low-rise building on the right hand side was built by the City Council in the 1970s, to provide workshops and car parking space, an attempt to redevelop the quarter which was not a commercial success. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewellery_Quarter
