Rails to trails near Victoria Park. The Caledonian's main coal export port was Grangemouth, but they wanted some of the Leith action too, building their own lines in already crowded Granton and Leith. A lot hinged on the development of the East Lothian coalfield, but that never fulfilled its promise. The networks now form a popular set of paths.
