The bus is reversing into Brook Street, having deposited the two passengers to the right at the alighting stop. Due to the heritage nature of the location, the two bus stops were not provided with metal plates to the standard specification, but were unique wooden poles with hanging signs. Buses no longer 'invade' Dallington Green due to changes to the local network. The bus is one of 6 similar Daimler CVG buses with Roe bodywork purchased in 1968, which were the last traditional front engine buses to be built by Daimler for the UK market. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=137652761
