Four ribs of this concrete arch over the main line and road at Bletchley remain to be removed during its dismantling. The ribs have been cut through at their ends using an enormous diamond-tipped circular saw and each one is then lifted out to be crushed and recycled. The East West Railway project is renewing part of Bletchley Flyover in its upgrading of the line between Bletchley and Bicester. In the future passengers will be able to travel directly from Milton Keynes, Bletchley and Winslow to Oxford or London Marylebone via Aylesbury.
