The milestone is located 20yds east of St Johns Lane, in the hedge, on the north side of road. Carved stone post, erected by the Welch Gate (District of Bewdley) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads: BEWDLEY / 2 MILES / CLEOBURY / 6 MILES Carved benchmark and rivet on top Milestone Society National ID: WO_BWCL02
