Ornamental pond at Naul's Mill Park

Naul's Mill Park with its ornamental pond opened in 1911. It is a long, narrow, park, following the valley of the Radford Brook, which is now hidden in a culvert. The brook powered the mill, which is recorded in the 12th century and was demolished at the end of the 19th. The mill was, however, a little further downstream, by Abbotts Lane, a site now occupied by Britannia Tyres. https://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/warks/vol8/pp190-198 http://planning.coventry.gov.uk/portal/servlets/AttachmentShowServlet?ImageName=1572602 Work has now (2021) started on a linear park to link Naul's Mill Park to the city centre and to revive the Radford Brook in some form.
