This is a song thrush, Turdus philomelos. More here from the RSPB http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/s/songthrush/index.asp. This bird was singing a charming song in the early morning sunshine. Thanks to Mike Pennington for the identification.
