Pond near Rannas

This roughly circular pond isn't shown on the 19th century maps, which suggest that all of this area was cultivated land. I imagine that it is an artificial pond created for shooting wildfowl, because there are some hides round the banks of it. However there's no road or path to it, so it no longer seems to be in use.
