Dried up sheugh on the eastern border of Tipperary Woods

Trees have been cut on both sides of the sheugh for a flood prevention scheme which will be constructed in the lower Shimna Valley during the next few months. The drought of April 2021 has led to the drying up of such sheughs and streams as well as a major fall in the volume of water in the Shimna River.
