Plumstead’s sign has been undergoing some renovation and is looking clean and crisp. It is double sided and seasonal, with this side showing spring, with flowers carved on the disc at the top and the fields planted with four different crops. On the other side, autumn, with some fields still to be harvested and one field already ploughed. The cock pheasant is a nice touch sitting on the A. The disc at the top on this side has a crop of plums. The frame in which the sign sits, takes on the appearance of church window.
