A pair of bungalows unusually located on the banks of the South Drove drain. They were, at one time, part of the drainage works, being the home and workshop of the blacksmith. Long since sold, they are now known as "The Forge" and "Blacksmith's Cottage". In my youth they were said to be haunted, but no coherent details were known.
