An image to replicate the first submitted for this square in 2005 Image The hotel occupies the former East Dunbartonshire Council building and opened in 2016. The most obvious external changes to the building have been the addition of steps, and a gazebo in the grounds. Behind the building there are now several houses in a cul-de-sac called Boclair Brae.
