The edge of the village, with its 40 mph speed limit signs and a prominent power pole, where the local electrical feed is converted to an underground line.. By the road are a pair of bungalows unusually located on the banks of the Adventurer's drain. They were, at one time, part of the drainage works, being the home and workshop of the blacksmith.
