St Julian's was built between 1818 and 1820 for J. C. Harries who was a statesman and briefly Chaancellor of the Exchequer. Alterations were made from 1951 onwards. It is now a private members' club - see https://www.underriver-village.org.uk/2007/03/st_julians_club.html and http://lovelocalcard.com/business/st-julians/
