Rather surprisingly concrete horse mounting blocks have recently been installed at each end of the pathway bridges over the A14 at Swavesey & Bar Hill. Especially surprising are the pair at Swavesey as the path is not a bridleway, & should only be used by pedestrians & cyclists as the sign here shows (although I have had to swerve around evidence of horse use). This is the block on the north side of the A14 at Swavesey, the path itself starts by the traffic cone. For a complete view of the bridge see: Image
