The sign shows the former tower mills although it is the wrong type of mill as the ones which stood in the village were either open trestle post mill, or smock mills. The horse and cart would once have been a common sight. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6804903 The union flag is flown at half mast for The Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh who died the previous day.
