This was the first time I've observed the practice of painting a unique number on each family of ewe and lambs to help match them up if they stray. This is ewe 101; the lambs did have the same number but didn't oblige to display that side for the camera. In the next field I saw 154 looking for her lambs; they were on the other side of a fence.
