Built in 1868 in the 'Norman Revival Style', to replace the earlier (Norman period) church whose remains are to the north-west of the village https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1020195. It is one of only two churches in England dedicated to St Lucia https://www.parishofsouthlafford.org/dembleby-st-lucia-church
