St Andrew's church dates from the 12th century and Robert Rabaz was responsible for its construction. There was a major restoration in Victorian times which included work to the south aisle undertaken by Joseph Clarke in 1864-65. The wooden cross in the right foreground is a 'community cross' set up for lent.
