The sign takes the form of a dummy wishing well built by two local builders, William Chapman and Herbert Sadler. Trees mark the silver jubilee of King George V, and the coronations of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II, and the 'well' was unveiled in 1982. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6678205
