Uvedale's House, a fine town merchant's house is now a block of cottages, numbers 11, 15, 17-19, and 21 East Street. Built in the late 16th century, much altered in the 18th century and later. The building consists of a main range facing west to the road and an east wing. Constructed of rubble stone. Some original internal features remain.
