County Hall in Durham

The headquarters of Durham County Council beside the B6532 on the west side of the city. It was designed by Sir Basil Spence in a 1960's brutalist style, and opened in 1963. However, the council is in the process of building a replacement which is supposed to open in 2021, and this building will then be demolished.
