The fine timber framed building, dating from the 15th century, and Listed Grade II*, was substantially renovated in the early 20th century. Passing is Red Rover bus 8626 DT, an AEC Reliance with Roe bodywork, formerly owned by Doncaster Corporation. Red Rover was a medium sized private bus company operating a network of routes in the Aylesbury area.
