The houses on these streets off Micklefield Lane, an area known as Little London, are full of character, and maybe of considerable age. None of the houses are listed although they are in the Little London Conservation Area. The appraisal document for this, available on the Leeds and Bradford council websites (for it straddles the borough boundary) explain that it grew from a single farmstead during the late 18th and early 19th century, as the local weaving industry developed (the houses were mostly built by or for millworkers).
