I did wait a while for the two chatty dog-walkers to leave but they just kept on chatting! Probably a good job they did as it gives the picture a bit of perspective. There used to be a residential street called Fraser Road here. In fact it looks like most of the old streets in this area of Rosyth have been replaced by new ones. There is no sign of anything that could have given rise to the hollow, so perhaps it is just a good interesting design. The Northern slope of Castlandhill is behind.
