This tug was in the museum but gradually deteriorating in the absence of significant funding for its upkeep. It remained the property of Peel Holdings and scrapping was imminent when it was purchased for a nominal amount for preservation. It is now back in steam and carrying passengers (Covid-19 permitting) following a long and expensive restoration.
