The Laurel and Hardy statue is in front of the Coronation Hall in County Square. The plaque on the wall of the Coronation Hall behind the statue reads: The Laurel and Hardy statue was unveiled by comedian Ken Dodd OBE and Councillor Janette Jenkinson, who was Mayor of Ulverston, on 19 April 2009.
