This rather down at heel industrial yard was an Air Raid Precautions Depot and Ambulance Station during the Second World War. After the war, the building behind the cars was used as the Tuckswood Branch Library. In the 1960s the library was moved to the community centre on Robin Hood Road, Tuckswood.
