The primroses are beginning to appear along with early daffodils. The snowdrops are now fading. Lorenden Park Trust was set up in 1991 by Robert Midlane to conserve the historic Lorenden Parkland Estate, which dates back to the 12th century, and to protect the wildlife. Lorenden was a country house that was sold and became a private school.
