By the entrance to Cook & Son, recycling, at Rowley Farm. It is a Fiat-Allis, Fiatallis or possibly just Fiat FL4. This seems to be the smallest in the range. The tubular boom is a comparative rarity both for the model and indeed for loaders in general. The exact maker name depends on the year - Fiat gradually took over the construction equipment business of Allis-Chalmers. A tentative latest date for this example is around 1985 although it could be much older, the tubular boom is illustrated in 1960s catalogues.
