The Collegiate Church was established by the locally-powerful Kennedy family so that a College, or team, of priests could pray for the souls of family members. There are not many changes since 1971 but the exact photograph is now difficult to recapture in summer and autumn as two large Plane trees now grow in the foreground. The huge old-fashioned TV aerials have gone but it looks like a radio amateur still lives in the house on the left, behind the church. Image shows the same view taken 50 years ago.
