By Gordon Payne & Preece, 1959-60. The honeycomb pattern is very much of its time. It has probably gone now. The banner proclaims that it had been acquired by the city council for its King's Quarter Development which sees most of this area being flattened for shops, offices and flats. There will no doubt continue to be space for Tesco.
