Before the South Tuckswood estate was built in the early 1950s, it was Harford Hall Farm, used as grazing for cattle brought by railway from Scotland, and then sold at the Cattle Market next to Norwich Castle. The unloading pens were at the back of what is now the B&Q store at Harford. These two pretty Victorian cottages which look out of place on the edge of a post-war housing estate were farmworkers' tied cottages.
