Goldfinches viewed from the Visitor Centre at Montrose Basin

This photo shows three goldfinches (Carduelis carduelis) in a tree as viewed from the Wildlife Visitor Centre at Montrose Basin. Two of the birds are adults while one is a juvenile without any red plumage on the head. One bird is positioned near the top of the tree while another is almost directly below it. The juvenile is to the right of the lower placed bird.
