Bramble House was locally listed but permission has been given for its demolition by the city council over objections from its own conservation officer and other bodies. It was a former nurses home on the site of Kingsway Hospital and originally built in 1930 / 31. It later became the offices for the NHS Derbyshire Healthcare Trust.
