Sumptuous neo-Gothic apsidal chancel by James Fowler in 1861 with lancet windows and arcading containing hatchment shaped commemorative tablets to the Haigh family. The tiling prompted the late Rev.Henry Thorold to liken it to a 'Turkish bath'.
