Built out of a crossroads in the early 1980s it has two railway bridges with a new road across one quadrant. I remember the day it opened, seeing a car go round the wrong way because with the railway running across it, it does not look like a roundabout. It may be the first roundabout that I ever saw with traffic lights. They were there from the start.
