The area to the south-east of Bilton village is generally one of quiet leafy suburban streets including St Mark's Avenue and Hampden Way leading off to the left. St Mark's is the parish church of Bilton and, according to the Rugby Local History Research Group, the name was suggested by the developers, the Rugby Provident Permanent Benefit Building Society, see http://www.rugby-local-history.org/index.php/rugby-roads?id=118.
