A bit of Stoke near Burton. You can just see the tops of four bottle kilns. A sight only to be rivalled in Longton. A delightfully ramshackle works and ripe for a bit of urbex (urban exploration) activity. My bete noir has reared its ugly head in the presence of intrusive scrubby trees everywhere. Fine if you're a naturalist but no good for IA (industrial archaeology) activity. This view was much clearer 10 or more years ago.
